The Jaya Suprana Institute (JSI) serves as a vibrant new home for the Museum Rekor Indonesia (MURI) and the Jaya Suprana School of Performing Arts (JSPA). Committed to fostering an inclusive environment, JSI honors Indonesia’s rich cultural legacy while nurturing emerging talents as a “Home of Indonesia’s Prodigies.”
Inspired by Pak Jaya Suprana’s scarf, our design embodies the essence of JSI as a sanctuary for talent. The logo weaves themes of appreciation, creation, and expression, reflecting the institute’s mission and showcasing the intersection of diverse artistic disciplines.
The color palette features traditional shades—Jaya Red, Medal Gold, Ivory White, and Legam Black—evoking heritage and strength while presenting a modern aesthetic. Supergraphics inspired by the scarf’s folds celebrate talent, and illustrations of Pak Jaya’s beloved cartoons create a whimsical connection to his legacy.
The challenge was to integrate these elements across various mediums, collaborating with multiple entities to establish a cohesive identity. Ultimately, JSI is not just an educational institution; it is a celebration of Indonesia’s artistic spirit and a platform for future talents to thrive.
